The UP-D898MD is a compact A6 black and white digital printer for the medical sector. It is designed to integrate with a wide range of compatible medical imaging systems, including mobile C-arm, cardiac catheter lab and digital ultrasound systems. The high-quality thermal printing unit can produce prints of still images fromTypeiger systems for use in patient files and referrals.
(Note that images printed on the UP-D898MD cannot be used for diagnosis).
The UP-D898MD is a successor to Sony's popular UP-897 series of medical printers. The newly designed and redesigned version now offers numerous operational enhancements and better ergonomics while maintaining the compact design and easy integration into medical trolleys. Ease of use has been further enhanced with a larger LCD display and a joystick for intuitive menu navigation.
The device is able to output high-quality black-and-white prints in less than 2 seconds. The advanced thermal printing technology ensures consistent photo quality and works with widespread print media.
